And I've never seen a horse win with 5 people on its back. So that takes care of that.:D

More rain predicted for today in Johannesburg - after the showers last night, the track may turn out soft with more rain - to complicate further a very difficult card imo; thoughts:

R1: Somebody playing games I think; both Yebhubhezi and Velvet Satin in the 5th now has allumites on and is shortening in the betting - not too much form here - so maybe respcect the money
R2: Disco Boy ran well behind Golcen Chateau last week and should be right there from a good draw - Above the Moon a danger imo
R3: Adella hard to beat - PA banker for me
R4: Berry Blaze has the class - but 1450 clearly short of her best trip - if she fails the race is wide open imo; Riley's Star ran very well behind End of Season and should place - also watch out for the long shots Tree of Perfection and Chances Are who both loves this trip - I think Carey's Qui better over 1200
R5: Final Score should improve over this trip and is the one to beat imo - not much between Sakkie Sakkie (who likes this course) and Body Snatcher one their last runs and they both need to be included imo, along with Velvet Satin who has shortened form 100/1 to 16/1
R6: 2Cents stole my thunder here; I think Venture is a big runner at long odds; Volatile also ran well over this trip and has a chance as well in a very open race
R7: Not getting any easier imo - Echohawk just needs to repeat his last run to go close here; Beta is improving, but imo may now need a little more ground, but has an obvious chance along with Tender Twilight
R8: Another tough handicap - the top 6 in the betting all rate some sort of chance imo - go wide
R9: Not mad about Night Star; has a chance, but I prefer Egyptian and Coco Stripes; money for Holden, but she is a filly against the colts - others with chances are drawn wide - inlcude as many as the budget allows

Play well

Dave if I remember correctly, the Binda stable had a 50-1 shot run close up during the week, maybe Magic knows how its working?

Clinton was pleased with Naharin's debut on Tuesday and gives him a bit of a chance, is about all I can tell you.

Yebhubhesi has clearly been set up for the coup....the whole pattern is there..........I will stick with Pacific Grove who I believe could be an 84 rating,so lets see.

Rob how do you play these workriders races? eg: are you backing PG on the nose or banker in exotic bets?

Greg,I seldom back workrider races outright, but I have this 1 as great (perceived) value due to the coup attempt.....have backed this one.
