The R3.2 million "purchase" out of Jalberry is now a 2yo, one year younger than the half sister that's running on Tuesday.

i listened to the race on the phone and Magico was way out of his ground and came flying up, but too late......perhaps should not have been so far back.....my opinion

i watched the race, Magico broke slow lost about a 1 lenght, round about teh 300-400m Marcus got serious but by them simons looking around as he was about 3 clear and was easing at the line when Marcus came home rattling 2 strides late, if Magico broke on terms he would have had the beating of Mannequin,i lost out here big time and therefore one cannot blame the jock if the was sluggish at the start.

on a positive note those that backed ATYEB watch him run in the JAVA over 2400, money should be on teh button as he also came with a late rattle teh extra 400 with suit him perfectly.

Magico was sluggish out of the gates, then seemed to take time to get himself into stride, and when he started making up the ground Anton had the whip knocked out of his hand at about the 100m mark. It just all went pear-shaped, it's one of those things.

i lost all my P6 and Jpt tickets except 1 Jpt where i covered in the last leg. That's racing and i suppose a lot of ppl lost money last night on that race. We live to fight another day..........have a smash on AIM OF THE GAME at Durbanville in race 1..........18/10 currently is a good price!

whip smashed out of his hands at the 100m was way too late too much ground to make up - very strange how a horse with so much pace is stone last over 1000m - even my gran knows you cant win from there. All i can say is i am never one to talk from the pocket but ish that prompted a few questions in my mind as well as my pocket - ACTUALLY if you view the replay closely the horse didnt actually loose that much at the start it was the next 500m where the problem was- and once so far back it was an impossible task as we all know. Has the horse ever been ridden from off the pace? as far as i remember eg at clairwood it was in front and won by 6?
