Mac, fyi, I figured out long ago that for some reason, the best horses born in the Southern Hemisphere are fillies, not colts; which is why I went for Ipi Tombe, among others.

The best horse in Australia: a filly.

The best horses in South Africa: fillies again.

The best horses in South America: who cares, they cheat so much it doesn't really matter!

it was mentioned that Igugu would be going for the Queen’s Plate followed by the J&B Met. “I don’t know where the information came from but whoever is spreading it, is ill-informed,’’ said De Kock. “The plan is to race her in the TBA Paddock Stakes over 1800m on the same day as the Queen’s Plate – and then the Met.’’

In my opinion Potala Palace is nothing special. Beat the blind school in the Premier's. Only Azzie's big mouth has made him a champion. I reckon Dean Kannemeyer alone has 3 or 4 better than him. Hope he comes for the Cape Guineas.
