Very tough days racing on the Vaal sand ; in 6 of the 10 races the favorite has not been on the surface - while some of these may obviously be suited by the surface and win easily; fot the sake of my preview I'm not mentioning them, lots of IF's today
R1: Each way for me here is Neil's Mission
R2: Dachnik each-way
R3: Tough start to the PA - Kinematic Countess has run well here - watch Mexican Glory for improvement
R4: Interesting to note that Magica Roma who beat Call the Challenge last time, is not in this race - we don't know IF the Peter runners entered here are considered to be better than MR, or if MR has picked up a problem - Kentucky Sheik seems good each way value to me
R5: IF Ryan's a Lion repeats his last win, he will come home lonely here, but he was flat out in that run and may not have recovered fully - only the race will show - Sermon, The White Horse and Nazran all fluffed their lines in their last runs, but must have chances on previous form, while Strike Master and Calanish rate obvious chances on this surface
R6: Kentucky Express is still to miss a placing over this trip, only possible PA banker on the card for me - Kings Gold has only missed a placing once in his last 10 starts, so seems the other horse to consider as back up in the PA - Furious Dancer has a chance as well imo
R7: The big one - the dogs are all barking Art Wish and he does look the right one to me as well - Eastern Cobbler is 'very well' and the stable is expecting a big run - other roughies to consider imo are Queens Bay (IF back to best very well in here) and the old man Alimony has a definite chance IF he can recapture his best form - very open contest and the only one I give no chance to is Comedy Caravan, who should not be in the race - both Lochlorien and Phunyuka better candidates imo
R8: Very competitive - most runners have some sort of chance - load up
R9: Another tough race to close the PA and P6; my narrow first choice is Mannequin - but all of Candy Cotton, Ibrox Park and Kahal's Fantasy have chances as well imo
R10: Can't be confident, but perhaps Chico Azul could prove each way value back on the sand
Only certainty imo is that we will have BIG payouts - small percentages the way to go imo - play well

Greg I think that only bad fortune can stop MASAI PRINCESS - at the Vaal i think THE MOUSEKETEER is a big runner - Sparkling Saphire could be involved in race one and The White Horse is a massive runner - Engagement a big runner

Winter Heart to run a cracker
Do not follow where the path may lead.
Go to where there is no path.....
