....for R54 outlay got 15% of a R660K joint double carry over P6 pool back in 2002 @ Newmarket night racing....had dead heaters Lake Baikal and Kumba Mela in the 1st leg bankered De Los Rios in the 2nd and the stable companion Simply Salmon won.....in the last leg had 6 horses + scratching and the formless 100/1 shot Sioma Falls trained by Dijone Steyn won.....I added it because I liked the pedigree (very unfasionable son of Ankara) and thought it could suprise over the 2000m trip.
I have since and at least once a year caught smaller % of bigger pools based on the theory.....for a longer ride go wide!!!!
