Agree, and over the years they have kept raising minimum riding weights. I remember seeing horses carded at 44kg..

If I'm not mistaken, I think Sabre's time was a world record when he set it. It's not surprising if it still stands locally.

i totally believe that with the export of horses ,the quality of horses that have been left have no chance of breaking the records.
