they are counted as sales as we receive commission and we do not know the sale is a buy back until long after the sale.

There can only be one reason for buy backs then imo? i know some will say there are many reasons but in my mind inflating a sires average is the only reason...

I love the TBA and I really love Caroline Simpson, but the TBA sometimes makes moves like it is a Communist Party!
Their catalogues are full of items not seen in catalogues anywhere else in the world. They do not subscribe to the International Cataloguing Standards. They put down fourth place finishes in stakes. Stuff like that.
Nowhere on the face of the planet are buybacks included in sale stats.
There can be no justification for this.
It makes NO sense.
Small minded.
