I'm going to give you guys a horse that ran downfield to keep in your little black books. We don't have too many good stayers in the country. Now this one may not be too good but I guarantee you he will pick up one or two more.
A Star is Born ran on from about 10 lengths behind the 2nd last horse to run midfield. He is an out and out stayer and will pay to follow over the next while......
just jot it down somewhere in the memory banks and watch it for the future!
This 7th race looks a nightmare. Perhaps Regal Ransom as it is by far the best weighted horse in the race? Might need the run though in which case I have no idea

I don't think so, even with that MR - but I have been wrong many times before

Thanks Frodo. I'm still recovering. Had a good bet on him at 15/1 a win and 5/2 a place. I thought it was all over at the 400m. At least he arrived for the places.

Gosh , darn. I am now really intimidated... my IQ and EQ exposed..fark... what can I post that will 'sharpen my tool' ?? {deep sigh}... damn, I suppose that the fact that it was an unraced juvenile maiden plate is NOT a mitigating circumstance ? {meanders off to eat some IQ enhancing fodder}
