I think perhaps the going and bleeding may have been the reason? She got good/firm going with lasix? Just a thought, but I was also disappointed with Gypsy's Warning going to the front.

The winner was not bleeding. The reports are that she hated any ground but firm.

Gypsy had never been a front runner.

We told him to take her back.

But I think Mike Smith's mind was elsewhere following Zenyatta's 19th win in a row without defeat and when Gypsy popped the gate, he just let her go. We are not likely to get an easier chance to win a Grade 1 again with her.
