Horse of the year - Is Irish Flame a cert ?

Contenders are only Irish Flame and Bold Silvano.

Irish won two Grade 1's including a scintillating SA Derby and a Grade 2. He won the Premier 3 year old race (Daily News) and ran 2nd in the July giving Bold Silvano weight (only 0.5kg)

Bold Silvano won one Grade 1 ( yes it was the July !) and one Grade 2.

I rest my case.

Any opinions ?

Seeing as I'm not on the voting panel this year I might as well tell you how I would have done it. No being sworn to secrecy or any of that stuff.

I thought Gibralter Blue and Mother Russia were the two best fillies this season.

Even though RJ beat Mother Russia in Cape Town and fluffed the last race.
