How the fark is this ref allowed to ref test match rugby,I'm talking about both sides, complete free for all at ruck time. Did anyone notice the penalty he awarded in the first few minutes for the accidental offside, yet in the Lions/All Blacks decider he didn't have the balls to award the penalty.
Much approved performance by the Boks, but you cant kick aimless kicks back to the AB.

So close, you cant give the ABs a yard for if you do they run you. Pity that they decided to give the first ABs try, could have gone either way. ABs far too good and its a pity that the authorities decided to give them 2 matches against France next month yet no match against England.
The Boks must now take this forward when they play Ireland, France, Italy and Wales next month. If they turn up like they did today then they will win all 4 matches of their tour.
This group of players will only get better and an early call is that on the flight back from Japan after the next world cup there will have an extra piece of luggage on it.

Ok I've calmed down, great game of test rugby. We still have many flaws as a team, but the Boks left nothing out there with regards to to commitment.

Romain Poite was the ref in the last Lions match
That's the thing with Frenchmen - they all look the same

Lots of AB fans in the crowd, plenty of New Zealanders living in Cape Town or did they fly out there for the match.

It was a good game and very entertaining. It was nice to see the Boks play with some Heart for the first time in a very long while. This is the hammer and tongs commitment that I remember in my youth and that we grew to expect from South African sport teams.
BUT
Analyzing in the cold light of day...
It is an indication of how far South Africa has slipped that the whole country is rejoicing at, what is ultimately, a loss

Bokked, firstly I sincerely doubt that the "whole" country is rejoicing at the result/performance. I have a sneaky suspicion that some would have preferred it if the Boks were smashed.
Secondly, the Boks have never had a good record against the ABs, and everyone (except Chicken

I understand and I don't want to denigrate the performance- it was Herculean
My point is just that it's an indication of how far we have fallen in the global pecking order that we are happy with a gallant loss. This we know so it's nothing new.
It was a great game to watch and I enjoyed it more than any rugby match in the past few years
