I honestly dont know why it took so long to finalise the Maguire deal. He should have been there from the beginning to get the understanding with the team going.

Tbh though, for that money, I would rather have Koulibaly. I hope harry proves me wrong.

Now for Dybala :woohoo:

He is a very good buy Lionel. Will bring something to the team although with players like Smalling and Young i cant see you getting into the top 4 again. Wish Arsenal had bought him

Not saying he's not going to improve our team Chicken....just feel that it's a bit over priced imo. Still lots of dead wood to get rid off...Jones is top of my list. But we're heading (hopefully) in the right direction with these 3 signings ( Harry, Wan, James) so far. And Greenwood as well. Dybala will certainly give us some cutting edge upfront, which we are desperately lacking.

I will quietly fancy a top 4 finish with this side :pinch:

The main reason why he cost over £80 million is because Leicester knew that Man U were crying out for a top class defender and were well aware that they would pay top dollar. Same with Zaha and Arsenal. Palace wanted close to £60 million but in reality with his age etc he is worth around £45 million. Also when English clubs sell to each other they rip each other off and usually want the full amount up front whereas if you buy from the Continent you can pay them off over the period of the new signings contract. You will only have a chance of getting the Juve player if Lukaku is allowed to join Juve.

Emery one last season?

Lampard will get a couple of years to settle in..

How about Klopp? Can he finally steer Liverpool to their 1st PL trophy?

City’s bench looked scary yesterday, I think they might be too strong

They will have more than one off day during the season and will be up to their opponents to be able to take advantage...

They were hanging on for dear life towards the end...including a goal line clearance. Worthy favourites, but might not be cut and dried.
