... that at Munich 1972 the American basketball team did not claim their silver medal and nor have any players subsequently claimed their medals. The medals still lie in one of the vaults at the IOC.

The game would have been won by the United States if the game was not started against the rules.

That we are being manipulated daily. The latest "fear" to beseech man is the extermination of bee's, the clever's are telling all and sundry that the extinction of bee's equals the extinction of mankind…

1 small little problem. The continent that is Asia eats more rice than anyone else and guess what

rice is NOT pollinated……

so brace yourselves, no more bee's equals plenty flied rice…..

Did you know that Liverpool have never beaten Everton at Anfield in an FA cup tie. In fact, the last time Everton lost at Anfield was in 1892, when Anfield was still their home stadium. (They lost to Burnley).

It will be Liverpool vs Everton in the FA 3rd round replay in early Jan 2018.

... that Walter Buick, father of William, raced against another top jockey in Scandinavia Chris Cordrey. His, Cordrey's, progress in Britain all but halted when his father Roger became the first of the Great Train Robbers to be arrested.

That there is a Racing stable in Ngong, Kenya that does not pay Vet fees.
Trainer Dr Patsy Sercombe is a qualified Vet and together with husband Dr John Sercombe, they run a successful long established Vet practice.
Dr John Sercombe is also a qualified Vet and is a raceday official at Ngong Racecourse.
The couple qualified as Vets in the UK.
