The longer Compton keeps defending the better as it will put pressure on the other batsman to score thus giving the bowlers a chance to remove him. This session will go a long way in determining the outcome of the match.

Hopefully that drop doesn't cost to much..... Not to often you see AB dropping decent chances... We cant afford to give chances to any batsmen.... Root is looking good after lunch... Need him gone soon.................

In saying that, I think the game is evenly poised.. I think we were lucky that bad light stopped play early and we can regroup and come out firing in the morning. I also think we lucky in that we can use whatever is in the pitch after being under covers over night, and when that's gone, we will get the new ball.... Imo the game is poised on a knife edge and both teams very much in a position to force themselves into the pound seat....

AB is been talked about being part of the big bash next edition. This would mean his test playing days would be over. Would be sad for the test arena world wide....

He is bowling blady well... We somehow need to get a lead of 180... Faf loves these positions and could still bring us out of this hole... We deep in cuck, but I don't think its over just yet (ever the optimist) :lol:
