Harmer must have a contract with a sunglass company otherwise he would not be wearing his sunglasses when bowling as he looks ridiculous in them. I bet he sleeps with them as well.

Since the last time you said something about that, I have noticed that at times, he doesn't field with them on, but puts then on when he bowls...

This Protea side are on the slide and England are going to eat them for breakfast in all formats of the game when they tour. Good wicket and they are 5 down with people like Du Plessis trying to play fancy shots as soon as he came into bat. India were 139/6 yet managed 334.

Could not even avoid the follow on target. SA certainly don't look or play like the number 1 team in the world. India have made them look like a park team. Pathetic batting display on a perfectly good wicket. India are not enforcing the follow on so I suspect that they will set SA around 500 and then bowl them out for around 120 again

I thought it was a much improved performance by the Protea's... I thought we were disciplined in all area's of the game and executed our plans to the full effect. If I had to pick out a few individuals who could possibly have been a tad better, it would be AB, Abbott, Piedt. Other than those 3 mentioned, world class performances by the boys... I look forward to waking up early tomorrow morning to continue watching the superb cricket they are playing!!

How they work these ratings is nonsense
Everybody and he's dog knows England are the number one cricket nation.

How poor have the West Indies become. Their past greats must be so embarrassed for this lot of players. Conceding 438/3 on the opening day of a test match is catastrophic. The Sri Lankans also conceded over 400 against NZ on the opening day but at least they have picked up 8 wickets along the way.

Surprised that Tahir is not in the squad. Two opening left handers is going to give the English advantage as they bowl across the left hander. Can see both been caught 2nd 3rd slip area.

Abbot good choice as he will be the bowler that keeps them quiet while Steyn and Morkel take the wickets. Piedt will take heaps of test wickets (hopfully he can settle early). Cant wait for Boxing Day live on Sky Sports with the added bonus that it will be Sky commentators as its England playing and not that motor mouth Mike Haysman

sadly ab has to keep wicket in the first 2 tests so bavuma can play..its a matter of time before his back packs in and ab will call time on his test career and only play limited over matches..
